Women's Weekly Prayer Meeting
Ladies, join us for our weekly women's prayer meeting each Tuesday morning year-round (holidays excluded) from 5:30 am - 6:30 a.m. in the Prayer Chapel, which is located across the street from the Family Worship Center (FWC is 6250 Wright St., Arvada). Moms of Faith Fall Kick-Off
If you’re a mom raising a child/children in your home, our monthly coffee is designed to encourage and surround you with other moms on the same path to raising godly children. We laugh, we cry and we identify with each other and with Christ! We meet on the first Thursday of the month (except in November when we’re meeting on the second Thursday of the month), from 9-11 a.m. in the Atrium. Childcare is provided, but reservations are required before 10 a.m. on the Monday before. Sign up here. Our coffee dates for the rest of 2015 are as follows:
New Women's Bible Study
Our fall Women of the Word (WOW) Bible study groups start the week of Sept. 14. Choose from Ann Voskamp’s “One Thousand Gifts,” Beth Moore’s new “Sacred Secrets,” or Melissa Spoelstra’s “Jeremiah.” There are many options, including a mom’s group that provides childcare, as well as daytime and weeknight groups. A small registration fee of $17 covers your study materials. Visit the Women’s Counter in the Atrium before or after weekend services or e-mail Janette.Rasor@fbci.org to find a fit for you!
Chonda Pierce is Coming!
Ladies, we have a night planned where you won’t regret a moment! Chonda Pierce, majorly funny lady and passionate lover of Jesus, will be under our roof on Thurs., Nov. 5, at 7 p.m. Get tickets for friends, family, neighbors and co-workers and come early to shop our Holiday Hoopla Boutique for holiday décor, wraps, purses, jewelry and more. In the hours before Chonda goes on, we’ll have incredible make-up demonstrations, including how to do the all-important eyebrow, as well as hair straightening and curling! It’s going to be such fun! Get tickets ($25 general admission or $60 VIP) here.
Holiday Hoopla Boutique-New Set-Up/Opening Day
Save the date to shop and/or volunteer at this year’s Holiday Hoopla boutique! Our Atrium (6250 Wright St.) will be filled with holiday décor (fall and Christmas), scarves, wraps, purses, jewelry and more! Every penny goes to projects benefitting women and children abroad and at home. Plan to bring friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to shop on Wed., Nov. 4, through Sun., Nov. 8. Also, volunteers are needed to help set up on Wed., Nov. 4, 8 a.m. - noon (childcare available by reservation only), as well as operate the boutique during all open hours: Wed., Nov. 4, 12 to 7 p.m.; Thurs., Nov. 5, through Sat., Nov. 7, 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.; and Sun., Nov. 8, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. Tear-down help is also needed Sun., Nov. 8, from 1-4 p.m. Contact Helen at Helen.Strait@fbci.org or ext. 92458 to help.
Plan Now to Host a Tea this December
Ladies, if you love supporting mission projects, then you’ll love this opportunity! Please consider hosting a Christmas Tea anytime during the month of December, either in your home or by hosting a table in the Atrium for the Grand Atrium Tea. These teas, which are fundraisers to support women and children on the mission field, are a special Christmas tradition that you won’t regret being a part of! Contact Helen at 303.424.2121, ext. 92458, or Helen.Strait@fbci.org for more information.
